Staff Beauty Must-Haves!

With the Winter weather coming in full force our beauty favourites are more and more important to our everyday routine! Here are some of our staff's beauty musts! We hope you enjoy! xo

I could spend so much money on skin care products! Anyone else? Just me? For myself to pick two or three products was a struggle, so here we go.

Firstly, since winter air is so dry I find i'm always searching for products that hydrate my skin without making my skin really oily and or breaking me out. I discovered Glossier Super Bounce Serum around a year and a half ago and it gives you the perfect amount of hydration! I apply this morning and night before putting on my moisturizer. You'll instantly know why I love this product so much after a day or two of using it.

My second product is the Drunk Elephant Glow Serum. Before telling you about this product, if you haven't tried the Drunk Elephant brand before go and try it! It's amazing and a clean skincare brand which is an added bonus! This serum is an anti-pollution product, which means that it helps block out all of the everyday pollution your skin is exposed to. This product also gives you a nice natural everyday glow. I put a small pump into my moisturizer and mix that together. I also really like this product because it gives my skin a no-makeup makeup look.

Since we are talking about mixing my glow serum into my moisturizer I might as well tell you what that is! I've been using the Origin's GinZing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer. So many products from Origins are my favourite so anything you purchase from them you'll be hooked. This moisturizer gives my skin hydration without making my skin oily. For those mornings you're having a hard time waking up, this product will really awake your skin.

LaRoche-Posay hydration and moisturizing cream is my current obsession! I discovered this product when I had an allergic reaction during the autumn season which dried out my skin. I was very reluctant to follow usual protocol by using a hydrocortisone cream as it has a history of being a "thinning" agent. The pharmacist as Shoppers highly recommended this product which did wonders in a span of two days in hydrating my skin. I have added the hydration cream with SPF to by daily routine and find myself putting on less layers of make up. I find i'm more confident in my skin that I have more no makeup days than makeup days! It's brought a new life to my skin and will continue to use this product religiously.

This is an easy favourite in my skin care routine! After cleansing my face in the morning I apply Josie Maran Argan oil. I find my skin is so dry so this product smooths out the fine lines and moisturizes at the same time. I don't even need to moisturize with a cream. It does it all! A real life saver.

One brand i've been loving is the Yves Rocher Anti-Aging line, I have been using it in my 20s, 30s, and 40s! The line is all natural and targets what your face needs at any age to keep it firm and reduce visible wrinkle lines. This brand has followed me through all of my skin needs.
